Violet is a simple plain white cotton nightdress with shirring at the neckline creating a smocked effect. The shirring creates fullness in the body of the nightdress making this a comfortable, easy to wear style.  The shirring extends over the short, capped sleeves and finishes with a little frill effect on the shoulder.  The neckline is finished with a narrow band of lace.
