Framed Fairy Picture - The Dog Violet Fairy

The shy dog violet flower is delightfully represented in Cecily Mary Barker's charming illustration as a boy fairy dressed in purple with green shoes and translucent purple wings.  

This is a genuine vintage picture taken from her Flower Fairies of the Spring book and is presented in a rustic white frame which can be either hung on a wall or displayed standing on a shelf or chest of drawers.  The frame is glass fronted so please take care when displaying it.

Evoking memories of childhoods passed this pretty picture would make a lovely gift for anyone old enough to have enjoyed the Flower Fairies in their youth or could be an introduction to them for a child.
