Short Sleeved Cotton Nightdress - Nettie

Nettie is a comfortable, relaxed style nightdress by Powellcraft made in pretty 'Secret Garden' printed pure cotton fabric.  This nightdress has short puffed sleeves and a round neckline from which the body of the nightdress falls.  There is no fitting to this style it is simply one fall of fabric.  Three pin tucks trim the bottom of the skirt which finishes with a short gathered frill.

The cotton fabric this short sleeved nightdress is made from has a colourful all-over print of yellow, pink & red flowers, butterflies, ladybirds and birds on a cream background which gives it a lovely look of summer.  This is, however, a slightly heavier weight pure cotton than some of my white cotton nightdresses.

If you like the style of Nettie but are looking for something in a finer cotton that is not quite so large you may like Juliet which is exactly the same style in pure white.

Machine washable on a cool wash.  I recommend the use of a non-biological washing agent to help keep the fabric soft and the colours bright.  Hang to dry and finish with a light iron if desired.
